A small 28mm stone roundhouse found its way under the paintbrush and flock this week.

Great to be painting again :)

Before you mention the holes - I have no filler handy and did not want to stop the paint flow! And as for the white spots - seagulls to you

Now all I need to do is simplify the picture workflow...

My round 4 LPL entry, a few figures for the boardgame Tokaido, sculpts were a bit soft and it's bendy plastic, but the designs are just delightful and it's a great game so that makes up for it, Have 11 more to finish

Seconded! Nice minis, great paint job, Mr Tough Guy!

I had a really great time at MV Jar's Advanced Painting Class last week-end. The most interesting workshop I have attended so far. I think it's going to change my way of painting completely. If you get a chance to attend one of his workshops, go for it!!!

Here's the barbarian I painted (a detailed review and more pics can be found on my blog, as usual):

Image

Imagine him standing in a relatively dark forest with only a few rays of pale yellow sunlight from above. Until then I had only painted zenithal lighting. So I went for top left (pale yellow for the sunshine coming from above) and a green atmosphere and bounce light from the ground. I guess his hair needs more highlighting and I'd better add something to his shield. Other colours oder engraving perhaps? What do you think?

I too just painted a barbarian...

Cuth Wolfson from Reaper's Bones. It's a Kev White sculpt, and way too big to be human. Makes a good half-orc though, hence the gray skin.

So...what do you think of that model?

Yesterdays progress on the SAGA Vikings I was sort of challenged to do by Mati. I've had them kicking around for years after a failed project. Some of them just needed freshening up and rebasing, others new slap altogether. A bit bish bosh.

They'll be two units of hearthguard. More units and their general to follow.

Hi all - new guy here. :P

I just finished up these guys for a friend. They were 3D printed from "Hero Forge" - and to be honest not my cup of tea.

You did really well with those Heroforge figures. The print-lines usually make them look like fuzzy shit, but these look great.

Welcome Herod! Great job on those. I've been thinking of ordering from Heroforge, but the prices are just too high for what you get.

Finally got a painting workspace sorted out, currently working on the Andre the Giant (Princess Bride) mini by Antediluvian. Trying to keep the colours very toned down.

The Arse cannon looks great, love the red face, that expression is priceless, really loving it so far, you did a better job on that then I did on mine. Mine's currently duking it out in the LPL, will post some pics once the round finishes

Love the yellows and bright blues Tough!

That arse cannon is horrible in its awesomeness. I particularly like/hate the inflamed look and the dark red prolapse. Ewwwwwsome.
