Owlbear. Always an owlbear.

Thanks for the info connexion - the basing restriction kills it for me, but hopefully somebody from here can put in a decent showing.

Sorry for the clumsy snip. Wait_what is referring to this Otherworld Painting Contest (Official)

I wanted to put the rules in their own thread so there is no confusion that those are rules for a seperate contest, happening at the same time, incase you wanted to make your PAL figure also meet their criteria.

Those rules do not apply to the PAL- which as usual, it just a thematic paint-a-long, with no winners, and now rules. :)

Thanks for the link connexion!

After painting one of their wights, the one with the fur cape, not so long ago, I'm really thinking of tackling the Owlbear first. It's the oddball weirdo model in my current OW warband.

Why's that? Thinking of painting a biiig giant? ;-)

If it's because of using clear transparent bases (as I've seen you doing recently), I don't think that's much of a problem as long as they are the correct-ish size.

If it's because you mod bases, that's not a problem either as long as the model can conceivably be used in a gaming setting. :-)

Hopefully I didn't step out of line with the announcement... :-)

Not at all, just prefer to keep them separate for clarity's sake; especially if you're going to post the winner from their contest- much better to have those in the new thread, than in this one with the RP entries. ;)

That's some nice feather work. :thumb:

Also Paul Muller has a real knack for making nasty looking monsters.

Thanks! Next up: Matt Bickley's Werewolf. Was thinking of doing the Owlbear but ran out of primer spray... :-(
