Lovely gobos, TOC. I'm curious to see how the plane turns out, Soldado.

Only finished 96 this year. Still, a personal best. I'm pretty happy with my progress. Though only 21 of them were from my backlog. :o

Cracking work all!
I've finally been able to move into my new place, and got a paint station set up, so should be able to pick up a brush again for the first time in over a month! I've been getting withdrawal and just licking other people's brushes just to get a fix...

A unit of cephalyx drudges for Warmachine is my first project for 2018. The castings leave a bit to be desired and the previous owner was heavy-handed with his glue. Debating whether to paint the hoses yellow or red.

After a couple of months of relative inactivity, here's the first finished model of 2018. In February, no less.

From my outa-control workbench: Massive Darkness Troglodytes which are basically your evil barbarians. So I wanted to paint them pale and 'evil' and chose purplish tint for their skin instead of a healty tan. Also, I am absolutely hopeless at NMM, so it's normal metal paints for these, although the cartoony sculpts would really work with NMM... another thing is I absolutely loathe cleaning the flash from these plastics, so I didn't bother at all. I just washed them clean and primed, and skipped the whole flash removal entirely. I might make more of an effort with the heroes. These being game pieces under heavy use, it doesn't matter so much, I think. And the flash isn't really bad with these anyways.
Image

Some more characters for my undead, these I used for testing my 'evil' skin tones of the Troglodytes. Basically Tanned base, followed by purplish wash and then some highlights with GW evil skin tone, forget what the name is.
Image

Finally some Fireforge knight types on horsies that have been waiting in the queue for ever. Horses, too much work I think, gets me down every time.

Wow! Loads going on there Elder Thingy! I can never take on as much as after a while I just find the pile so overwhelming. You have to have real painting endurance chops for that much!!!

The orc warlord on warhog is ace Connexion, Orcs are my old fantasy army of choice for WHFB - I really need to get round to sorting them out and doing something with them. I like the colour choice for the hog, makes it stand out from the crowd and yet angry and menacing still!

Countersunk, always liked Grey Nights, those look great. Should be dicing their way through heretics in no time.

Also liking the drudges Imp. The flesh tones are looking good especially.

Soldy, how you churn through stuff I don't know, but that plane is great, really like what you are doing with it.

Finally finished these. They would have been done a couple weeks ago if not for an unexpected need to move house.

You fellows are so productive! It makes me feel downright lazy to look at everything you're doing.
