Jan 2018 PAL: All Sorts

Postby mcfonz » Sat Jan 06, 2018 11:34 pm

A few days late, sorry, but lets get the new year kicked off with a very open PAL. 'All Sorts' - interpret it as literally or not as you like. Those of us that are struggling for motivation can just pick anything and start that paint based momentum going, take your mind off going dry for January or just a pallet cleanser.

This PAL runs until the end of Jan, so break out those new paints, brushes and minis that you got as presents or with money after Chrimbo and get slapping wet stuff on toys! :beardy:

Well my entries for this are a thin man on a hog and a fat man on a donkey..

Image

The thin man is "The Devils Rose" from Terrible Kids stuff and the fat man is "Pedro" from Black Scorpian's Tombstone KS

Yeah, its quite an easy build really, albeit fiddly especially for a sausage fingered muppet like me. My only criticism is the sprue gate on the legs in that its in the recessed key point for locating the upper torso and holding the legs while trying to hollow that out enough was nerve racking as the legs are really thin.

The bike went together a treat with no issues at all, much better design than the warlord/ WGF bikes.

work on the base to create flames, thoughts?

Legendarion chibi style Mortarion, decided he needed a Blight Tree and sculpted Mr Ugly Twiggs to go
with him! Usual Humbrol enamels dry brushed and Tamiya smoke wash over the lot, it will get a matt cote
at some point
