Soldado is correct. Caulk is a silicone product and should remain pliant for years, while PVA will become rigid in a few weeks at most; which will cause it to crack and peel, making a mess that will draw great ire from your missus.

So looking at painting tutorials I came across this online app for determining colour schemes/palettes using colour theory. Seems like it could be useful.
