Dwarf Mount help

Postby mcfonz » Thu Mar 16, 2017 8:33 pm

Right, so now I am considering some mounts for my Dwarf force.

I'm hoping to convert some riders, so it's specifically the mounts I am looking for. I'd really like if that could be goats but at this point I am open to ideas and suggestions.

They can be purchased for around £4 each in the UK and Blackfly has one and suggests it should be large enough to use as a mount. That said, what else is out there?

Not sure if they'll fit with the other dwarves you've got, but West Wind's Dwarf Wars includes ponies, pigs, wolves, lions, and goats. Some of the riders may fit with what you've already got. I'd contact them directly if you want to mix and match anything.

Then of course, there's Scibor...

Or you could back Atlantis Miniatures' dwarf kickstarter and wait a year.

The wargods ones are great figs, but on the small size ( for mounts, pretty big for goats!) , depending on the rider figures. Did I take comparison photos for you? I can't remember, it must have been a while back.

Oh arcworlde has some bighorn sheep mounts too I believe, but since they're halfling size, they might also run small
