I remember borrowing this off of a mate and loving it. For £1 or there abouts, it seems well worth a second visit! :D

Shadow of the Horned Rat was a pretty terrible game anyway as I recall... You could easily end up in an unwinnable situation further into the game cause you lost too many troops early on.

Well that was the whole issue... having to start again after going through half the game. :wry:

There was pretty much no leeway, you had to crush every mission to have the resources to keep going.

I bought a pirated copy of this in Estonia when it came out. Tallinn had this marketplace selling all sorts of stuff, including pirated movies and games, and Finns would travel there for cheapo shopping.
