Bark bark bark

Postby manatic » Sun Sep 03, 2017 10:07 am

Turned a piece of pine bark into a rocky outcrop. Really happy with how it turned out. The stuff is really plentiful here in Finland, it's pretty much everywhere as most of our parks have at least some pine trees.

Nice - plenty of room to stand figures on and shoot down from.

very nice, is that secret entrance there?
Producing both eggs and milk, the platypus is one of nature's rare custard machines.

Very nice.

Did you treat them first? Thoughts are damp and bugs - maybe a cook in the oven?

Yeah! I figured it would fit a pirate/smuggler theme nicely :)

Definitely! 20-30 minutes in the oven at 200 Celsius first, then painted with diluted PVA to keep them from breaking.
