So Netflix are releasing a Castlevania series which is airing on July 7th. Its written by Warren Ellis but other than that not much has been known about it until now.

Not much to go on but looks like it could be good.

Oh missed that it was Warren Ellis, might be interested then, TBH never played any of the games, and really only know the franchise from Simon Belmont being a buffoon in Captain N :lol2:

Captain N, god :lol2:

I played Castlevania 2 on the NES and a load of the GBA ones, bloody ace series. I'll definitely be watching this.

I haven't played a Castlevania game, but I quite enjoyed this! Gory, dramatic and anime-y, but in a good way. Looking forward to season 2.

Castlevania is amazing. Well cast, well produced, a great story that uses the original game as a spring board - I'm entirely sold. Can't wait for Season 2.

Yeah that's the best part, it's actually based on the game plot (such as there was for an old NES platformer) and characters from Castlevania 3 with some additional background details from Symphony of the Night (best Castlevania!).
